Synopsis/Details
In the afterlife, MIKE (30s) meets two friendly Alien Creatures who bring him to an illuminated gate that transforms him into one of their own. After that, Alien-Mike is escorted to an introduction class where he learns that THE MASTER GAME is played on arcade-like game machines with the objective to manipulate human beings on earth successfully through their lives. If a human being dies with a positive energy level of at least 75%, the Alien Creature wins and will complete the circle of life. In an unprecedented case, Mike ends up playing his own son, DANIEL. But no matter how carefully Mike guides him through life, Daniel soon accumulates a pathetic energy level of minus 28%. Frustrated, Mike intentionally guides his son deeper into negativity and forces him to have a cathartic experience where he realizes his wasteful existence. Daniel turns his life around and starts climbing the ladder of positivity. In the end, Daniel is shot and dies, but not before he manages to commit one last act of kindness, which ultimately pushes him over the required +75%. Somewhere in space, Mike is celebrated as the next winning Creature who will now be re-united with ‘IT’, or nature, or God, or whatever one wants to call ‘IT’.
