Synopsis/Details
In the 1890s, Jeremiah Fuller — a haunted Civil War veteran turned wealthy businessman — recruits cowboy and former cavalryman Eddie Moore for an unlikely mission: to lead an expedition deep into the wilds of Tibet in search of a mysterious holy man. Their path collides with Dorje, a humble yak herder, and his determined daughter Pema, who are struggling to deliver a new herd to save their village from starvation. Forming an uneasy alliance, the Americans and Tibetans brave treacherous terrain, harsh elements, and a land caught between spiritual serenity and brutal survival.
But their greatest danger lies ahead: Senge, a violent outcast with a personal vendetta and a claim on Pema, threatens everything. As tensions rise and old traumas resurface, Eddie and Jeremiah must confront not only a savage enemy, but the ghosts of war they thought they left behind. In a final, desperate standoff, destiny will decide who lives, who finds peace — and whether a forgotten corner of the world can give two haunted men a second chance.
