Synopsis/Details
Daisy has just started her first job as a stage manager for a new production of a one man show. She finds she is basically a glorified tea girl as she watches Tony Hammond, an actor once of great promise, and Ed Hannigan, the self-absorbed director, go through the highs and lows of rehearsing.
As Daisy gets sucked into the world of two massive egos, she also finds herself battling with her fiancée over the phone, who is abroad working and who she fears may have a wandering eye.
Tony begins to warm to Daisy and a friendship sparks between the two as Tony offers up relationship advice and Daisy feels confident enough to gift some new direction for the one man show.
When Tony discovers Ed has other irons in the fire, he fears his play may not be getting the attention it needs and finds an excuse to get Ed out the door and Daisy in the director’s chair.
