Synopsis/Details
Things are rough for kids these days. Especially best buds Nick, Emily, Squiz, and Legs. They’re about to start their FIRST day of fifth grade… and already it sucks. There’s bullying, puberty, and homework – plus, Nick’s parents are about to get divorced. Their favorite teacher Ms. Hanson has become the guidance counselor, and won’t be teaching anymore. Then there’s the new fifth grade teacher, Mr. Stokes. A recent immigrant from Romania, Mr. “Val” Stokes is dark, brooding, pale and handsome… One look, and Emily’s already in crush. But to her friends, Mr. Stokes is scary as well. Squiz theorizes he just might be a vampire, which seems silly to the others…. At first. Until kids start disappearing. And the evil clues stack up. Is the red liquid in Stokes’ glass really Gatorade? What’s his beef with garlic? Does he lack of reflection in the water cooler mean anything? A comedy horror in the vein of Harry Potter meets Fright Night, Vampire Teacher has soul.. magic and lots of twists. Family Fun for the Adams Family – and more!
