Synopsis/Details
Kate's the all American girl- interested in doing good, both at home and abroad. After college, she volunteers to work at Pasaga Mission in the Philippines, helping girls in the sex industry find a better way of life. She quickly finds herself in over her head. The Mission's being pressured by the local church - and the girls on the street are getting murdered in increasingly gruesome ways. Everyone's a suspect, and the motives of the Mission's staff seem less than pure. Paul - their oldest volunteer - goes missing at nights. And Eva - the matronly head of Pasaga, keeps her secrets close to her chest. There's even talk of an Aswang on the loose...a vampiric creature of Filipino legend, known for attacking pregnant women and children. The crisis comes to a head when Kate finds out she's pregnant herself. Will she be able to navigate the dangers of Port Angeles? Or find herself the victim of a creature older and more primitive than Filipino lore...
