Synopsis/Details
Malvane ‘Mallory’ Drake, a ‘teenaged’ vampire, much to the chagrin of her ‘father’ (and the Vampyre community in general) has ‘gone public’, sued the Department of Education, and WON! What’s her reward? Being allowed to experience the angst, awkwardness, and social pressures of HIGH SCHOOL. BUT THERE’S HOPE! Mallory is assigned an ‘ambassador,’ 17-year-old Jonathan Harper, to lead the way through the jungle that is Whitby High School. Of course, Jonathan might be the one soul less socially adept than Mallory herself! LEAD CHARACTERS: Malvane ‘Mallory’ Drake: female, 17-years old - unintentionally intense, accidentally cold, but with an unquenchable curiosity about all things teenager. Malik Drake: male, mid-50’s – Mallory’s vampire ‘father’ - intentionally intense, purposefully cold, with an immense distaste for all things ‘human’. Jonathan Harper: male, 17-years old - the typical awkward, gangly teenaged boy at the bottom of the high school social hierarchy. Doctor Vanhiel Singh: male, mid-40’s, East Indian – substitute teacher by day, vampire hunter by night. Miss Lupe Luna: female, early-30’s, Hispanic – she’s got quite a bit more going on that simply being a mild-mannered History teacher! Coach Frances Stein: female, mid-40's - an amazon of a woman at over six foot, stocky, strong, obviously former glory days as a college athlete, she would be a shoo-in if she tried out for the role of Miss Trunchbull in a local little theater.
