Synopsis/Details
Four aspiring screenwriters, finalists in the Bloody Kills, Inc. Horror Screenwriting Contest, are whisked away to an island writing retreat. On the boat, the screenwriters discover that they have a cheater in their midst, Kevin Larson, the creator of the KEVLAR Screenwriting Podcast, a professional screenwriter, has entered the 'amateur writers only' contest under a false identity. On the island they discover that Lockwood 'Lock' KIllaman has painstakingly recreated the set locations from all four wining screenplays (an Oregon fishing village, a majestic hotel, a country summer camp, and a secluded cabin in the forest). Killaman, appearing in person, reveals to the four finalists that the Grand Prize winner will have their script added to Bloody Kills, Inc.'s movie roster and Lock Killam will personally sign on as executive producer. What the four screenwriters don't know is not only have their script LOCATIONS become reality, but so have their KILLERS (a horrific leech-man who drinks blood, a possessed hotel maintenance man with an axe, a homicidal hunter who wears a taxidermized animal mask, and an undead witch bent on revenge) and, to win the ultimate prize, one of them has to figure out how to be the LAST ONE STANDING.
