Synopsis/Details
OUTCAST (2016-2018) meets HAP AND LEONARD (2016-2018)
Rosie May Adair-Sanders is on her way to her OBGYN appointment when she is involved in a serious vehicular accident with a septic tank truck. Knocked unconscious and in a dream-like state in the back of an ambulance, Rosie May encounters her childhood imaginary friend, Bird Attaway. Bird warns Rosie that the child she is carrying is in imminent danger, not to mention the entire world is about to be destroyed in the apocalypse. Bird offers to help save her child and instructs Rosie May with a secret method allowing her to reanimate Bird’s soul into 6 dead bodies for 66 minutes each.
Rosie May awakens in the hospital to find herself relatively unscathed by the accident. She is immediately obsessed with finding out more information about Bird. Finding no information on the internet, Rosie May borrows her mother’s cleaning van and scours the public library where she eventually stumbles on an old Antebellum newspaper article describing the poisoning deaths of the entire Attaway family. Rosie May visits the Attaway family cemetery and finds the family’s funerary plot but conspicuously missing a gravestone for Bird.
Using her mother’s cleaning service connections, Rosie May talks her way into the county morgue where she reanimates the first dead body she finds, Judd ‘Mad Dog’ Mathis, a hulking biker who was murdered by his fellow outlaw gang members for being a police informant.
With the dead/alive biker in the passenger seat of the cleaning van, Rosie May is soon spotted by the outlaw gang members who dispatched the biker and surrounded.
After a brief car chase, the gang attempts to repeat their assassination of Mad Dog, have even less luck than the first time, and are ultimately interrupted and scattered by the arrival of Sheriff Huxley.
Rosie May fakes contractions to allow Mad Dog/Bird to steal Sheriff Huxley’s patrol car and make a getaway, resulting in Huxley driving Rosie May back to the hospital in the cleaning van.
At the hospital (again), Rosie May gives Huxley the slip and calls Mad Dog/Bird on an ambulance’s CB radio. Assured of a safe meeting spot, Rosie May drives to the old Attaway Plantation where she and Bird used to play as children. Here, Bird reveals that dark forces are bent on replacing the soul of her baby with a demon to initiate Armageddon.
The 66-minute possession timed out, Mad Dog’s body collapses leaving Rosie May shocked and dismayed.
