Synopsis/Details

A spry 80 year old lady, Iolanthe, takes her two beloved and energetic dogs, Hogarth and Hackabout, for a daily constitutional through Kensington Gardens and into Hyde Park. On her walk she passes famous landmarks, such as, the Elfin Tree, Kensington Palace, the Round Pond, Peter Pan's Statue, the Italian Gardens and Longwater Lake.

She engages in conversations with nice people and has a contretemps or two with nasty ones.

In flashbacks spanning 1900-1966 she reminisces, with excellent memory recall, her interactions with famous personages of the time.

This is a tale that cautions against judging people by the coat they wear as appearances can be deceptive.

In Iolanthe's case some take her to be an ordinary, little old lady, others treat her as if she's either homeless or a bag lady.

In actual fact, Iolanthe is a real Lady. Both in title and in bearing.
