Lock The Door

14-year-old Tyson and Demie his mother hide from intruders in an unlit attic room. Demie tells Tyson to lock the door, but he can't. He has a phobia about being trapped, and tries to get her to hide in a big wooden chest. He finds a baseball bat in it. They eventually open the jammed sash window to get onto the outside fire escape, but one intruder is already coming up it. They retreat inside and shut the window, but a second intruder thuds up the attic stairs, and the door's not locked. They're trapped! Demie pushes Tyson to the middle of the room, grabs the bat and flattens herself on the wall by the door. The intruder rushes in. Tyson screams. Demie knocks the intruder out. He falls, but now the first intruder smashes the window and is climbing in. Demie pulls Tyson out of the room and slams the door. He locks it from outside, and the two of them clatter down the attic stairs.
