Synopsis/Details
Actor Brad has landed a movie role as a 'lucky bunny' superhero. He hates the costume so much it sets off his nervous twitch, but he needs the work and the money. On his way out, he bumps into his elderly landlady, Angela, who hassles him for overdue rent. Brad stops by at the supermarket cash point and checks his bank account (empty) when the film company phones to say the gig is cancelled. Brad becomes desperate to pay his rent, or at least stop Angela chasing him and making her embarrassing jokes in public. He comes up with an idea to 'raffle' a car on promotion in the car park, but of course it's not legal and he attracts the attention of Conchita, the manager. It's love at first sight for both, but she has a job to do and threatens him with the police. Brad won't go because he's getting lucky with ticket sales. Conchita fights him for the cash but Angela swoops and takes it. The police arrest Brad and Angela, who's unlucky enough to be holding the evidence, and Brad is stuck with her in the police van. It's definitely not Brad's day, but will he get a lucky break? Image: Courtesy of Lucas Macedo on Canva
