Synopsis/Details
Eve Davis, a successful but weary soap opera actress, returns to her hometown of Winter Lake for Christmas, hoping for a quiet holiday away from the pressures of Hollywood. But when her father’s annual Christmas play loses its leading actress, Eve agrees to step in—despite the challenge of performing without a teleprompter. As rehearsals unfold, she reconnects with Jason, her high school sweetheart-turned-reporter, and starts to see the charm of small-town life in a new light. Just as she begins to settle in, her demanding producer calls her back to New York, forcing Eve to decide where her heart truly belongs. With the town rallying behind her and Jason reminding her what real love feels like, she takes center stage—both in the play and in her own life—embracing a future she never imagined.
