Synopsis/Details
Lisa Wright an aging actress who hates kids and Christmas finds herself in the middle of a crazy scheme concocted by her agent to foster a 7 year old girl for the month of December to help her win the lead role in a family Christmas movie that could catapult her waning career and be worth millions of dollars.
Lily a 7 year old smart as a whip and sarcastic orphan who loves Christmas finds herself in the middle of the scheme. She manipulates Lisa to get whatever she wants and eventually wins her heart.
However, just when everything seems to be coming together the foster home manager who befriended Lisa and became her boyfriend finds out about the scheme. He takes Lily back to the foster home on Christmas Eve, which is also the day Lisa is scheduled for her big audition. Eventually Lisa realizes she would rather have Lily and her boyfriend than the role of a lifetime
